Our VP Sales will provide leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization sales function. As the most senior sales leader, the VP Sales is accountable for the overall sales organization performance, the achievement of sales goals, and for aligning sales objectives with the business strategy. The VP Sales reports to Juan Zamora, our Chief Executive Officer.

If you are a current Sales Director in a SaaS B2B company experienced selling into the European market and want to take the next step in your career, we want to meet you. 

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Align the sales objectives with the business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting 
  • Accountable for effective sales design, including sales job roles, sales channel design, and processes (the sales organization includes Inbound and Outbound sales)
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives 
  • Provide coaching for the sales team to empower their growth and development in the role
  • Partnership with the People department to establish learning and development objectives essential to the sales team success, overseeing the effective delivery of learning and development programs
  • Establish and govern the sales performance management system. This includes establishing the sales department principles for managing performance, establishing and prioritizing critical performance measures for all sales functions, overseeing the equitable allocation of goals and targets across all sales channels, markets, and personnel; and ensuring all the sales people are held accountable for assigned results
  • Provide leadership to the sales management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior
  • Proactively asses existing sales support investments, including those in technology, training, and administrative support
  • Lead sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the needs, championing those initiatives, and removing obstacles impeding constructive change  
  • Lead the international expansion of Signaturit, focusing on European markets, bringing best practices from previous experiences
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with prospects, customers and internal stakeholders

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

  • Achieve assigned organizational objectives for sales, profits, volume, and other strategic goals.  
  • Supports the achievement of strategic objectives critical to other functional areas within Signaturit

Organizational alignment

  • Reports to the Chief Executive Officer 
  • Peer colleague to other senior functional heads and VPs
  • Direct report staff includes National and International Sales team managers

Qualifications Required

  • University/Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven sales management experience in a SaaS business-to-business (B2B) sales environment, in a hyper growth and fast paced environment
  • Have lived a fundraising stage B or C in a startup company and a growth from 5M to 20M year revenue
  • Proven experience leading a sales team (3-5 years) with a coaching approach
  • Proven and relevant experience selling into mid-market companies (up to 1000 employees)

  • High level of organizational and analytical skills: you go crazy with a beautiful company performance report
  • High level of communication skills (written/verbally), including public speaking
  • Process and data oriented: you like to keep the information organized and up to date
  • Proactive and detail oriented.  
  • You are used to sales cycles from 0 to 6 months
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in French
